What We Do by Deacon Adigun Temitope Idealism

This is the community of poets.
Scrambling words on a paper random.
Brought together by our common interest for poetry writing.
We find writing reflecting in our state of mind.
We pen out words which our hearts are unable to hold much longer.
We’re friends-shipping towards what we do best o’er and o’er.
We are one big family with unique style and goal.
Poetry work for the master!
He is our lawyer.
Unlock and unleash the poetry in you.

We’re a couple of guys passing time sing-writing poetry.
Rhyming to sing the song of poetry.
Filled with love and praise of poets using melodious notes in this poetic musical bouquets.

We’re eagles flying with time in this poetry world.
Soaring so high to that heavenly poetry.
Grazing poetical heaven above amongst the clouds the rhymes soars.

We’re just friends counting time painting poetry.
Painting how we feel,
with words like colours.
We paint poetry with brush of rhymes in lines.
Let our pen write poetry,
Let our sound sing the song of poetry.

  1. This is a good one. Good metaphors and wordings are what made your work fantastic. But a period/full stop is never used at the end of a line in a poem….
